Angela
Bea All my life I have had an interest in health and healing. As a child I collected healing herbs in the countryside with my father, who was the pharmacist for British Weleda. At 19, I did a nursing training at the London Hospital, E1 and then went on to study midwifery in Bristol before becoming a mother of three. I taught for the National Childbirth Trust for 8 years and then returned to midwifery part-time. My life’s journey then led me very diversely to work with adults and young people with learning disabilities [in Camphill Villages], the very elderly and frail, the dying [Hospice work], and as a Nanny and Maternity Nurse.
My work experience has encompassed Abbeyfield Homes, whole-food shops, the Alzheimer Disease Society and as a live-in carer for Country Cousins and also privately. I
have also travelled widely visiting areas of India and Africa,
the North American My passion is ENABLING, which means literally to allow the ‘Other’ to discover and help themselves to a greater understanding of their life, situation and destiny. |
